The Village of Woodlawn is a small, primarily residential community of 2,800 located northwest of Cincinnati.  The community was serviced by the Cincinnati Fire Department until 1926, when the Woodlawn Men's Club was established and took over fire service.  The present department was formed in 1942, and became a full-time 24/7 department in 1995.  The current station was built in 1977.
